Week One Pass/Fail Report: MAC

MAC Record: 5-6

Pass: Ball State, Eastern Michigan, Buffalo, Toledo

Ball State: Riley Neal passes for 259 yards and a pair of scores in blowout win over FCS member Central Connecticut State.

Eastern Michigan: Tyler Wiegers completes 18/21 passes on the day in 51-17 win over Monmouth.

Buffalo: Tyree Jackson passes for 6 scores in blowout of Delaware State. Bulls look to be for real.

Toledo: Rockets crush VMI, Mitchell Guadagni tosses 3 scoring passes, Bryant Koback rushes for 2 scores.

Fail: Western Michigan, Bowling Green, Kent State, Ohio, Central Michigan, Northern Illinois, Miami (Ohio)

Western Michigan: Defense can't stop anyone in 55-42 loss to Syracuse.

Bowling Green: Defense allows 5 scoring passes by Oregon's Justin Herbert in loss.

Kent State: Golden Flashes blow solid lead over Illinois in loss to begin Sean Lewis era.

Ohio: Bobcats barely escape with a 6 point win over determined Howard club.

Central Michigan: Chippewas trail Kentucky by just one at the half, but cannot score again in 15 point loss.

Northern Illinois: Huskies trail Iowa just 3-0 at the half, and then get blasted 33-7. Tough opener. Sutton is limited to 5 tackles in loss.

Miami (Ohio): Got a ton of love heading into Marshall game, but that love was misplaced. Miami loses to Marshall to open season.
