Wake Forest vs. Tulane Analytics

Wake Forest and Tulane meet for just the 4th time Thursday, with Tulane leading the series at 2-1. Wake Forest is coming off of their first win in the series in 2017, a 7-3 snorefest at home.

Last season was the first meeting between the two since 1995, which was a Tulane 35-9 win in New Orleans. The first ever meeting came in 1959, a 6-0 Tulane win, also in New Orleans.

Obviously, Tulane is 2-0 at home against Wake Forest all-time, while Wake Forest won the only game in Winston-Salem last season.

With the exception of the 1995 game, these games have been low scoring and close, with only the '95 game ending with a double digit differential. All other games came in at 10 total points or lower.

Sam Hartman, a freshman, gets the nod at QB for Wake Forest this week. Jonathon Banks is under center for Tulane.
